School Houses

Our school houses represent the Northumbrian Landmarks Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian's Wall, Holy Island and Tynemouth Priory.  Houses retain their names each year and children stay in their 'houses' for the whole time they are with us at Holystone.  Siblings joining school are allocated the same house.

Each year we have a House Challenge and a number of activities are held including House Days.  Points are awarded to houses for positive behaviour and also following various competitions which take place throughout the year.  A House Cup is awarded to the house with the most points at the end of each summer term.
